I actually remember reading about this in old issues of Nibble Magazine I was reading in the late 80s/early 90s. The first time I watched the movie I was looking for it.
My first computer was an Apple //c as well - I learned BASIC and assembly on it out of nibble magazine. I still have everything and I have dreams of setting it up as a terminal and using it to code in emacs.
I miss the days of magazines with code in them and computer with BASIC and assemblers/disassemblers in the ROM.
