I found an interesting use for Sugru. I've found out that the little plastic piece at the end of the hose and that constitutes part of the nozzle of windshield fluid assemblies is a two part piece of plastic that is held together solely by friction/fitting, it doesn't lock or snap, and when held in the hand, the two sides of it can come apart rather easily. One piece normally is pressed into the hose, the other piece (nozzle) into the hood, and then those plastic pieces fit together.
Apparently the spray/pump power for my windshield fluid is enough to make the hose side of this assembly "pop away" from the nozzle underneath the hood, causing it to fall somewhere and spray fluid between the heat shield and hood.
Sugru was perfect to hold the two sides of that piece together so that it never pops away again. So far it has held up great.
