Last year, while many of these healthcare workers put themselves at risk to deal with the pandemic, others got especially generous unemployment benefits.

Nice way to say "Thank you"

From heroes to zeroes in less than a year.

Even though many of them got Covid while being heroes and acquired natural immunity, which is more protective than the vaccine alone, they are now fired and shamed and discarded. Without unemployment for not complying with an unnecessary requirement. Again, those with natural immunity, who are now fired, are more protected than those with the vaccine alone. Many who complied felt forced and bullied into it. Let that all sink in and imagine yourself in these positions. This is a form of cruel and unusual punishment.

“Build Back Better”

But if vaccines are refused, doesn’t that meant they didn’t consider the virus last year a big risk? Not even flu level risk, they consider it a common cold type risk?

They can’t have it both ways, if they want to be taken seriously they can’t play up the risk they put themselves in due to a virus they don’t believe is risky enough to warrant a free fda approved vaccine that prevents the risk. This how they appear to be treating it. That is not logically consistent.

On the other hand, the hospitals consider the virus risky and want people vaccinated or not exposed, so it’s logically consistent to not allow their workers to take unnecessary risks.

Edit: The “I know that’s true and have no reply but I can’t acknowledge that fact so I’m downvoting” type downvotes show a point well made. Got to cancel it lest other people read it!

They are immune from having had it originally so of course the risk is different from one point to the other. No inconsistency except for the fact that reality changed for them through the magic of bodily reaction.
