Is it really? I have so many tabs open at once, it's just a slight move to the right to close a tab. But then I usually close my tabs with Command+W anyways.



I am not sure what you are trying to say here.

For me as a die-hard, old-school Macintosh user the irritation is just too much.

This wasn't a problem when you could just hide the tab bar and use windows instead. But having loads of windows open, all with one tab AND the tab bar, that's ridiculous.


You must not have as many tabs open as I usually do or you're more of a mouse user than a keyboard user. If I ever do want to close a tab with my mouse, the tab width is so small, it's not that big of a deal to move my cursor over to the right instead of the left. But like I said, I don't ever do that, my hands are usually always on the keyboard, so Cmd-W is way faster.
