Was posted here a few days ago.

And a few days before that... I don't like going into the 'old'ing but I was under the impression that there was a URL check when posting doubles on HN. Maybe I was wrong...

The fancy HN dup checker doesn't look at #'s in the url.

I must've missed it the first time around, still, its an impressive demo, at first I thought I was uncovering some kind of hidden image, then when I figured out I was making it I immediately had to try it all, very cool stuff.

indeed. very pretty

There is a lot of interesting code in here; I took the liberty to beautify the JavaScript here, http://pastebin.com/zVe5a1Fi

This got me so excited I've decided to dedicate my spring break to getting acquainted with HTML5 by learning to us http://processingjs.org

I think HTML5 could quite likely liberate JavaScript from the DOM altogether and provide the necessary foundation for revolutionizing 'the manner' in which we develop the browser as a client-side application on 'some system' while further streamlining the web-server as a means of storage. I mean HTML5 could very well be the solution for writing formidable JavaScript that can do so much more besides molesting the DOM. ;)

It didn't work last time on Chrome Dev 5.0.307.1 (r37331)

Today I found out it was because an extension called Kill Evil

This is amazing. I wish there was the ability to make text via typing as well because I could easily make some basic designs to pretty up my website with this =]

(Yes. I'm not a designer)

Edit: Hold Shift for colors!

This works for me in Firefox 2 and Opera 9.64... should it?

I guess basically my question is, what HTML5 features are used in this that they would be supported in Firefox 2 and Opera 9.64?

I wish someone would translate Fugpaint (http://www.benfry.com/fugpaint/) to be Canvas based.

Fantasic!
