You had better be careful. You mix "them" with
him" in your description. You have to make sure that each and everyone of the individuals that you are thinking about taking action, is based on HIS or HER INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE ETC. Not a lot of precedents for this kind of action on a group without looking like you are trying to keep them from just vesting. It will go better if you have their transgressions OTR.
A lot of useful insights that I will use the next time I need a printer. This comment is totally off topic- I have noticed the same thing about external cameras for my desktop computer. Never needed one until the pandemic forced Zoom et al on all of us. Any comments?
Center Cam is pretty good with its narrower field of view and decent color handling, essentially what a typical webcam should be. I think primarily what sets it apart is it was designed post-2020 and has to compete with the high expectations we all hold from ubiquitous cutting edge phone cameras. The incumbent webcams (even that term sounds dated) are all from an era in which sending video over the internet at all was an impressive feat.
After reading all of this, it might be time for me to wean myself from LI, so any tips you may have would be great. I run a small pro bono (sometime contracts) for apprenticeships and workforce development in disadvantaged working class and BIPOC communities. Revenue not so much as the networking is the thing that seems to be my biggest challenge without LI
I've only ever heard one person use the term BIPOC to refer to themself in real life. Do people actually say this? Other than that one guy, I only ever see the term online or hear it on NPR. And it seems to have only popped up in the last couple of years. My initial reaction when I heard it was that it seems kind of racist and weird to single out Indigenous and Black people then lump together the rest of the various groups of not White people in the world.
I rely mostly on my my website for marketing and some twitter. I write articles in my field that focus on topics that are not well covered, but important. When I create relevant content, google picks it up.
It sounds like your field relies a lot on word of mouth, so maybe you can get your audience to talk about subjects that are important, by breaching topics that are a concern for your audience.
Since this has leaned pretty much into Indo-European languages, here is something that is not as well known. Indigenous languages in the Americas were nearly extirpated by colonialism. Take a look.

You have some really responses to your question. There may be more coming, but with what you have here, it is a goldmine of great anecdotes, stratgies, tactics and facts.
Good luck.
