Another option (C++ LGPL w/ Lua,JS bindings): https://github.com/yue/yue

Other projects building on andlabs/ui and https://github.com/parro-it/libui-node:

https://github.com/mimecorg/vuido - vue

https://github.com/kusti8/proton-native - react

This is very, very interesting.

It allows to build the whole UI using HTML, CSS and JS and leverage it with all the tooling and libraries already built for the web.

I had my eye on yue, but it does not seem that a Golang port exists. Persoanally I would like a guide (hints) to port it to Golang or other language.

There's a golang wrapper for libui written by the same author [1], if that's of interest. Same standard of documentation, though.

This is great, and they're fully documented. Thanks.

I recently learned two XBox controllers can function as one, an ease of access feature called Copilot.

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/copilot

It's mentioned in this article, as well, because Copilot was partly built to enable someone with one of these Adaptive Controllers to keep using the Xbox controller inputs they are comfortable with and extend them with this controller for the more uncomfortable ones. Then the designers realized there are plenty of other reasons people might want to pair controllers and there was no reason not to release it as a general feature for everyone.

My guess would be because AMI or their OEM (Cleve) requires they use it for support.

i am not sure i would agree that this has been discussed before. this is not simply about use of RF (microwave, mmwave) for HFT. as i understand it, that kind of thing typically involves COTS radios and conventional dish antennas.

this instance appears to involve longer-range links and SDRs (in this case, the ettus USRPs).

Yes, well said. I think you're making an important distinction. Shortwave is old technology, but combined with SDR, this is a novel application of it AFAIK.

A microwave radio setup to the nearest populated area gave my rural-living parents modern internet a few years ago. It’s not the same scale but the same idea! It’s far and away better than satellite.

I use HN search all the time; it's useful.

There is no way to search across multiple comments on the same "story"; I use Google site search for this.

It only counts replies/"comments" for stories, not comments (which would probably be a lot more work).

It differentiates between plural and singular search terms as very different searches.

The only ranking options are by popularity and date (would like to be able to sort results by number of replies too).

Interesting to compare the automation vs. a manual approach started last month.

Yeah.. turns out that's actually a friend of a friend. I'm curious to see what people prefer for obvious reasons :). The advantages of my approach are personalization, interactivity, and scalability beyond just HN. Theirs is probably going to be a nicer experience than I can do for non-interactive use.
