Radix Colors ?

I don't want to use React

The song actually refers to a kind of candy named "Mistral gagnant"

On the contrary, I quite like how it's a very elaborate and useful ad. The link to the paid service is very discreet and the website provides real and free educational value even if you don't use their service.

Can you elaborate on Rails' snapshot testing? Are you talking about VCR / webmock?

Can’t find the specific library I’ve used. But this looks similar

Nice library with a very approachable documentation, congrats!

I'll probably give it a go to replace my current implementation using nokogiri-happymapper (https://github.com/mvz/happymapper)

HappyMapper was actually an inspiration for Shale. If it had support for JSON, Shale probably wouldn't be created :)

Their customer support is really top-notch!

This is usually called a "honey pot" if some people want to search tools for implementing it.

Parts of GOV.UK [1] and the Paris.fr website [2] are also good examples

> code itself is apolitical

I suggest you read Larry Lessig's Code 2.0 book.

I do not believe "read a 426-page book" should be considered a reasonable response here. At best this response is short-sighted.

You could at least post a link or say why this is a good book to read. While we are suggesting books I think "The Making of the Atomic Bomb" is a great work highlighting the political motives behind the making of the 20th centuries most important "tool".

The book is pretty much a thesis on why code is law, and therefore very political.

I can't put police at your door, whatever code I write.

You can literally disallow speech, by restricting what can be said. Or remove your ability to speak to people by shadow-banning you.

Of course because you need to be authenticated to contribute to OSM...
