I may be wrong here, but it doesn't look to me that .fseventsd, .Trashes and .spotlight are open, standardized multi-platform formats.

Unless random proprietary format means "My mac doesn't read it".

".Trashes" is just a directory. There's no "format" to speak of…

Your point stands for the other files, though.
