The issue says and I quote:

    Docker should adhere to the App Container Image (ACI) specification.

That's a more forceful wording than "support this standard".

I might not have used the same tone as Solomon here but the issue is not exactly worded diplomatically either, particularly given the current tone right now around these two projects.

The issue you're quoting is from GitHub user SnakeDoc. I don't think he is affiliated with CoreOS.

Which has nothing to do with how strongly it's worded. Shykes is responding directly to user SnakeDoc in that issue not CoreOS.

Yes, you're right. Somehow I thought you were suggesting that the issue was posted by someone from CoreOS. My fault.

Nonetheless, I don't think it's written strongly at all. It's a succinct, plainly worded feature request. My favorite kind.
