I would not consider the Minnowboard or Cubieboard a microcontroller. It's usually called an "application processor". Microcontrollers generally have onboard flash and ram.

32-bit microcontrollers have only recently gotten cheap enough to supplant the old 8 and 16 bit mainstays. I don't expect to see AArch64 on any of them anytime soon.
