Weird to call NIMBY a liberal thing when many conservatives hate any kind of density planning or mass transit.


How many conservatives live in San Francisco? 12?


Many actually - they just don't realize they are in most ways conservatives.


I do think pro-regulation liberalism is fundamentally "conservative" in many ways, in that it is risk-averse.

When it comes to building things, yes, they are conservative.
