Nationwide Internet shutdown in Afghanistan extends localized disruptions (cloudflare.com)

Really eye-opening post. It’s wild to think how much we rely on the internet for everyday stuff—news, school, even just shopping or finding hobbies. When it’s taken away, people lose access to so many little things we often take for granted.

I was actually reading up on bifocal sunglasses the other day and it hit me how even simple lifestyle resources like that wouldn’t be reachable during a shutdown. Posts like this are a good reminder of how important open access really is.
