Very interesting. Either the data are from a very specific type of software engineers or I need to change job ASAP because the numbers for UK Senior Software Engineers are crazy high: £90 to 130k Pounds median income!


The article does say that “The data is likely to overrepresent US-HQ’d companies”.


Yes I saw that but the salaries table is split among UK HQ, US HQ, and "everyone else", with all categories high, with US HQ the highest, indeed. But that's not a "type of software engineers"... Or perhaps it is based on a small subset of top-tier companies in all 3 categories.
