Gmail users are on red alert as cybercriminals deploy a new AI-powered scam designed to steal personal information and take full control of accounts. These highly sophisticated and deceptive attacks are becoming harder to spot, making it easier for victims to be tricked.


I don’t want a phone number anymore. There’s no real reason for anyone to call a number that ties directly to me. If it’s friends or family they should have a way to reach me. Companies getting away from phone verification is a much needed step, especially as AI grows.


What's the value of a hacked google account?

I always wonder what these are used for. Most of what I can imagine seem like sort of low value activities like spam.


SSO into many many websites? Being able to use the account to impersonate that person with their acquaintances or relatives? A hacked google account can be VERY valuable.
