Apparently, if you enter x-apple-health://HearingAppPlugin.healthplugin/HearingTest into Safari, it allows the hearing test in non supported regions.


Anyone have a reasonable source url for this?

Why was there ever a geoblock to begin with?


It's basically an OTC hearing aid. Those are generally regulated, and getting the relevant authorisation takes time.


I would guess it’s due to regulatory approval outside of the US


You can't move fast and break things with official health equipment.


It is probably classified as a medical device in certain regions
