Just tried the new search mode, asked for a list of odd or unique things to see in Frankfurt. The second suggestion was "Kaiserlei Bunker", a "former bunker turned into an arts space". I googled it and found nothing; asked for clarification, standard "sorry, my mistake, it doesn't actually exist".
How does it confabulate even when summarizing web results?
Kaiserlei is a suburb of Frankfurt and there are bunkers in Frankfurt (as well as elsewhere in Germany) that have been turned into art spaces. It's the kind of thing that is plausible, it may even exist under a different name, but is a hallucination. I wonder what would happen if you searched on the German version of Google.
