The only thing that comes close to this line is the introduction, where he seems to imply the majority of his detractors are hired by private equity, and not people who actually read and disagreed with his stance of their own accord. This seems like a fast-track to paranoid delusion - I'm not going to disagree with someone who's ace up their sleeve is to call me a pinkerton.
It's time to call it what it is; this little ego dispute is just brand suicide for Automattic and Wordpress. What an absolute disaster.
