So... intentional and deliberate centralization of email? No, thank you. We already have plenty of proof that corporations cannot and will not do what's best for humankind, and would prefer to do specifically what's not best in order to leverage pain and strife to bolster themselves and/or to punish competitors.

Interesting how later this is mentioned:

"running your own self-hosted email stack would become much easier"

So... the list is supposed to be of people and organizations that don't adopt MX2, and not a list of organizations that aren't "Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Zoho, GoDaddy, Gandhi, Wix, Squarespace, MailChimp, SparkPost, and SendGrid"? Specificity and clarity are good things.

BTW - self-hosting email is not "insanely difficult". It's just difficult to get outgoing IPs that have a decent reputation. But it really doesn't even matter - anyone can self-host easily, and simply smarthost through a reputable provider. This makes self-hosting really not that hard at all.
