The sad thing about .NET development is that

the language is fucking great

tooling is unparallelled

ecosystem is mature

but the jobs... jezz christ majority of them are either gluing some jsons over https in some web BODY shop

or desktop apps but in some ERP industry that requires shitton of domain knowledge and the less programming skills you have, the better.

I cry whenever I have to touch C and I'm thinking about C#, but on the other hand projects are way more interesting.

The original post this replied to was so devoid of substance that I'm not sure it deserved a reply.

Anyone making such silly statements as you can't be a good <Language> developer is just silly, and not worth the time or effort to bother with.
