I don't necessarily think this game needs progression at all. Wordle is a game where you gain information with each attempt. Triword doesn't need any additional information at all. There's one solution (or should only be one solution), and it can be deduced from only the information provided.

If there is any kind of progression, I could imagine it just being successive hints:

- One random letter, but no information about placement - The correct placement of the random letter in the affix - The correct placement of the affix to the stems

But really, I think the simplicity of this as a pure logic puzzle is great all on its own.




If there is only one solution, no progression, and each of the three words is meant to be commonly known, then what is the point in adding an input field to check whether I have the correct answer?

If I have my three letters, then I can easily see for myself whether or not my guess is correct just by looking at the screen; the input field does not help me at all.


A question I asked myself when I first created it. Some people will be annoyed by that, some won't. It's fine if you're the former! but the fact is, without an input field, there's no way to verify that your solution is accepted and mark the puzzle as completed.
