It's fascinating seeing 95% of comments here unloading on Jira for the completely wrong reasons. It's the configuration and how it's being used that makes the whole experience bad for many people.

You can misuse any tool but that doesn't mean the tool itself is shite, you're just using it incorrectly. If you limit Jira to just an issue tracker with Kanban it's actually pretty good.
