Glove80: Rethinking split contoured ergonomic keyboard (kbd.news)

I wish more keyboards had the adjustable thumb cluster like [1] Given I have a hard time reaching most of the thumb buttons, I think this adjustment would really help me. Unfortunately, its not a curved well design.

I see just QWERTY. Does the key layout (QWERTY vs Colmak-RH etc) impact the design of the wells at all? I would think not, holding number of keys fixed.

Also I’m very curious if these alternative key layouts are really worth the switching costs, in terms of marginal improvement in RSI ergonomics and/or terminal typing speed.

I dunno. I had RSI in my hands once so bad I thought I had to quit coding, I started doing push-ups and in two weeks I was cured.

Hmm. I actually have been avoiding push-ups thinking it would make it worse.
