Super disappointed to learn that the answer was that you can’t go there at all.

I thought this was gonna be a viable place to stay permanently without becoming liable to pay taxes to either country :(

The rule for Spain, from what I’ve previously gathered is that if you stay in Spain for >= 183 days in a year, they will want that you pay taxes to Spain.
