Tiny Apps (tinyapps.org)

O man!, I used to use OffByOne web browser when stuck with a lowly Celeron at work. I ResHacker'ed the executable to add lots of keyboard shortcuts (and maybe standarise a few others). I vaguely remember some guy to whom I'd sent instructions for adding his own keyboard shortcuts surprised me by publishing the instructions on his blog.

If I had to use IE for some site that broke in OffByOne, I'd open a window, hit Alt-L, and blindtype the URL long before the IE window could complete its first draw or even show what I had typed. For performance, OffByOne was my only hope, and so had to smile at the filename: ob1.exe.

Edit: When paired with Proxomitron, which is also on the TinyApps site, it had decent adblocking, too. Looks like there are a bunch of tiny apps there that I used to use.

Including TinyIRC, which was written in assembly. Wonder if that's an original copy of TinyIRC; a few after I started using it, the shareware version was abandoned because too many cracked copies with multiple viruses were coming up in search results ahead of the real deal.

Lazymirror xs4all link is dead under file->Backup, which is unfortunate, because it sounds perfect. The version listed is different than the one that comes up if you websearch "Lazymirror", say from softpedia.

Cool list, i grabbed several things that i remembered from years ago.

Isn't it the same Lazy Mirror 9.3.1.401 version?
