I think you should release the Linux version as a Flatpak [1] to Flathub [2]. That way it could be install using a (graphical) software manager on many distros and it would increase the discoveribility of your program.
It shouldn't be too complicated to create a package from the provided tarball.
I also have a Qt based application and have customer asking about a Linux version. If I were to use flatpak.org, what percentage of Linux users is that likely to support?
