With this initial release there will be some benefits but maybe not full benefits from using loom. That is to say it's easy enough to swap a lot of what's being done for kotlin coroutines or cats with just launching a virtual thread.

Where things will get interesting is when the continuation API finalizes. That will allow those APIs REALLY deep integration with the JVM.
