Its like a half meme that inexperienced programmers (which would be the target audience for this app) buy Macs because supposedly they are the "best" for programming.
People definitely have their preferences, but from an objective standpoint when talking about the control of the computer, nothing really beats mouse+keyboard+big screen, and this is proven by the fact that you don't see trackpad or laptop use in the competitive gaming scene for MoBAs, RTS, FPS games where input speed and accuracy matters.
