But .NET 4.8.2 isn't the right name, is it? It's .NET Framework 4.8.2. .NET Standard 2.0 has also been around for six years now, so the upgrade path has been around for a while.



That's why I wrote it in quotation marks. .NET Framework was always shortened to .NET in the common office vernacular.


So maybe be accurate when asking someone to write cheques then?
