I think recognition is all they had. Intel Graphics has always been a brand of slow.



Intel’s iGPUs are slow for gaming, but they are fine for desktop use, which is what most people use them for. If you are building a gaming machine, it wouldn’t really matter how good the iGPU is anyway, because you’ll be getting a dGPU.

And their Linux drivers are pretty solid usually.

They need to do better to compete on the high-end, but I love them for my daily driver work laptop.
