Had anyone noticed that the big bad time-sucking "bureaucracy" is always ill-defined? Whether it's Google, GE, or whoever, these co's never discuss the ACTUAL root causes of insufficient productivity.

Leaning up to go faster is code for: our shareholders are complaining, so 1. Corners will be cut or 2. Layoffs of the "slow and weak" are imminent.

It's never about problem solving. Unless your problem is that you need more money right now.
