Whipper is great and I use it to backup my audio CDs in FLAC format. There's a plugin called whipper-plugin-eaclogger which will generate the logs in a format compatible with EAC.

Then just run whipper with: `whipper cd rip -L eac`

That won't create a file that will make it pass the logcheck, just so you know.
