I often wonder if we will ever get to the point where human generated content has a special luster to it like locally grown food. When you go to the farmers market and purchase fruits and vegetables grown locally at a premium price, most people are not only paying for the quality, but the fact that they are supporting a local business instead of a large scale factory farm. In a world where generative AI can outpace humans making content, buying custom human made artwork could potentially be similar to going to the farmers market.
