I'm glad Process-One and ejabberd are still doing well.
This brings back memories for me! My first job out of school was building video conferencing back in 2008. We used ejabbered for presence and messaging, had full federation and everything!
I got to learn some erlang to build modules and integrate with our giant PHP application and then support our flash client. Even got a support contract from Process-One, something I was probably too junior to use properly.
Although I am now frustrated with XML, I remain bullish on XMPP!
