Just to warn people; these are "hacks" for winning the twitter game for maximum following / engagement / look at me I am f'ing amazing.

They are also why twitter has become a cesspit of people trying to win at tweeting.


I second that. It might be written as advice, but I read it an as autopsy. Documentation of the cancer and rot.

I think Twitter is a great place to find interesting people with similar values - customers, clients, collaborators and even friends.

That's why I do everything I can to increase my reach while still maintaining my peace of mind.

I don't see anything wrong with that.


This is the same one-sentence paragraph style that tweets and LinkedIn posts are written in. What is it, and why do you use it?


I have gone the full distance read the article and followed it up by going to the actual twitter account. It is as bad as I thought.

A Twitter ‘hack’ I love is muting “rt @“ in the Latest Timeline to remove all natural retweets. I believe this works because Twitter still stores retweets as “rt @user tweet_content” on the backend, and you can see this in various Twitter CLI tools.

If I could remove all Quote Tweets in the same way, my timeline would be perfect.
