I'm asking because I have trouble with my blind spots, I tent to over-inflate my abilities (I'm too confident) and in the process become blind & less honest with myself. we’re all human right (let’s hope).
This may sound weird, but as long as a person has strong, even incorruptible personal values, or past experiences that taught them important lessons, it will be near impossible to be fully honest in the circumspect sense of the word.
What's usually achievable is more like a subjective honesty, which while it may feel good, never really tells the whole story. Just IMO.
A true cognitive blind spot will make you laugh with discomfort, or you'll just naturally ignore it. If someone who's good at those blind spots teaches you, you'll probably think they are a joke, or space the class.
