Yes, this is exactly what we need - a legal system that can get even more complicated and convoluted. The average person today has virtually no chance at knowing and understanding the laws that they encounter in their life. This will undoubtedly make it worse by expanding the capacity of the lawyers and politicians to create even more complex laws.


I would like to install mandatory linting software in legislators and statute writers first.

I think if we can nail down that down, we can start refactoring the lawyers...

Hard to imagine a juicier target for hacker-y infiltration. First thing we do, let's control all the lawyers.


Pwning the prosecutor will definitely be a thing in that world. Private investigators are already willing to hire hackers. Plenty of rich people will pay a lot to get away with crimes.


I, for one, welcome our new cybernetic lawyer overlords. Who wouldn’t want to make the most reviled profession more arcane and inhumane?
