Version 12.1 of the open source project management software OpenProject was released.
This new version contains various new features and improvements:
A new Team Planner module (Enterprise feature) allows you to visually assign tasks to team members to get an overview of which team member is working on what and when tasks are due and schedule work accordingly.
We are now publishing the basic agile boards for the Community! Making it possible to work with agile boards in the free of charge Community version of OpenProject.
The "Include Projects" filter option makes it easier to add multiple projects to your views, such as for work packages, calendars, and team planners.
We added a new "Files" tab in the work package details to have all possible information attached to a work package together.
We created global roles for groups to assign these roles to groups and create superuser groups.
The project status was given more options to choose from.

The OpenProject BIM edition also received some updates. For example, now it is possible to save your filters on BCF issues and share them with others, just as you could always do in the "Work packages" module.
