I think the point of Fuchsia to Google is it’s not Linux, nor bound by GPL. If it works it’s end of FOSS.



That seems an odd statement to make about an operating system that is fully open source.


Why do you say it will be the end of FOSS? Fuchsia is still released under MIT license at present. If it is successful, another version could be released under GPL and built up as a competitor to the non GPL version.
