Photo captures space station crossing the moon
Indeed. There are also pretty stunning transits of the Sun (with Canadarm and Crew Dragon resolved) on the photographer's website [1]. But Moon transits are likely much more challenging since it is much fainter as a background than the Sun.

I would guess the Moon is actually much brighter once you filter the Sun to safe levels.
