Microsoft keeps shooting themselves in the foot. The last straw for me is that they'll soon be requiring a Microsoft (online) account to install Windows 11 Pro. My next PC will run Pop OS or Ubuntu.


You can always install another system on another ssd. It costs you less than 100 usd.

You can install multiples systems on the same disk, but it's better to just use separated drives


They didn't say dual boot.

They said they're done with Windows.


He mentioned his next PC. So I suggested that he could run linux on the current one? Of course, could also just install linux instead.
