The site seems to be under a lot of load. In case anyone (like me) is having trouble viewing the images, I wrote a quick script to scrape the images:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/markerdmann.com/paintings.tar

The naming format is "page_X_image_X.jpg".

EDIT:

Here's a video slideshow of the images:

This video illustrates his progress much better then the original thread.

Could you do the same thing for this guy: http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=114449

Sure. I'm running out the door, but I'll take a look this evening and post an update here.

Just out of plain curiosity, could I please see the scraping script?

Definitely. Here's the script:

Just let me know if there's anything I need to clarify.

Nice work! It would be even cooler if you added a timeline. :) (That or just simple text saying 1st year etc..)

Thanks for this - a video was the first idea that came to my mind.

17 minutes long. Wow.

Summary of the evolution of his work in a single image. Sample of his drawings (objects and self-portrait) in 2002 and then in 2011: http://artistadodia.postbit.com/jonathan-hardesty.html
