On the other hand, Apple had similar opportunities and succeeded almost every single time.

The MS list:

- Windows Mobile

- Zune

- MSN

The Apple list:

- iTunes

- iMessage

- iCloud

- iOs (some more)

Microsoft is extremely successful with Azure. Apple did not compete at all on public cloud offering.
