He seems to be saying something very much along the lines of [1].

However, I don't like the work clock centric viewpoint. In my own experience this kind of pattern:

is not a good thing IMO.

This fits me to a T.

I would imagine it fits most of us active on HN as well. Always an interesting set of content and usually an even more interesting set of comments.
