I would like to know what is used to develop a mobile app in 2021. I have a Java/Python background. I have seen Android tutorials but most point to Firebase, I wouldn't like to be tired to any ecosystem. Any pointers for example Kotlin with Mysql/Maria or Postgres db database. Any ideas welcome.
Basically Kotlin(native android), dart(flutter, crossplatform) and swift (ios native). You can also use web tech like javascript/typescript (not my cup of tea) or other more weird tools like delphi, or B4A (basic)...
