Not sure losing a lot of money and giving up on most of your North American settlement is an example of good leadership.

The money was lost by Louis XIV, his successor had to deal with the aftermath.

He consolidated the true national borders by integrating corsica and eastern territories.

I didn't say he was a good leader, I said he was better than Louis XIV.
