Why can't we continue using the International Certificate of Vaccination and Prophilaxys? [1] It already exists, and has been used for Yellow Fever Vaccine Certificates for years.
TBH I never understood why regular passports don’t have a vaccination section especially with how many places on earth require or recommend vaccination before travel (either by the origin or destination).
I still remember having my vaccine passport as a kid that was filled when I got my vaccines throughout primary school.
Because not everyone has a travel passport. Especially in the US this number is shockingly low. Also they expire. How would you transfer this data? Also some people have more than 1 passport and potentially don’t want both countries to know the other passport exists.

You mean, it's not about listening to "the science"? What ever could be driving this? Certainly not a naked power grab, using fear as an incentive?
