We use the the article as the basis for the debate here. Sometimes that debate stays on topic, sometimes it does not. For the sake of timeliness we mostly have to assume the article is accurate, however sometimes the debate itself is regarding the authenticity of the publisher, author or sources (or lack thereof). The HN system is quite healthy IMHO
