These satellites have marred the night sky. There is more to life than broadband availability.



Tell that to the people not on this, or any, forum because they are left behind and don't have any or a decent internet connection.

In I were in that spot, I'd happily trade a few bright spots in the sky for catching up with the developed world.


Yeah. City light pollution even more so. Time to deprecate civilization and go back to the caves.

I don't think most Americans are in a position to criticize or even care about light pollution - the light pollution caused by your cities is way above that of a tiny bit of reflection by Starlink.


What an unbelievably privileged thing to say.


It's disappointing indeed that America's failure to provide rural broadband lumbers the whole world with these satellites.
