It isn't.

Slurs can be hurtful, so you shouldn't direct them at people or use them in a derogatory way if you don't want to be hurtful.

The idea that words can't be spoken in any context is counterproductive.

I think that is unclear.

People seems to care just as much as ever when they are called a slur, and are even more offended when they see them used in non-malicious ways
